Can I Receive VA Dental Care?
The short answer is that if you are a 100% disabled veteran, then yes. If you are 90% or lower, probably not. Of course, there is nuance to consider. The VA can give treatment if you have an existing service-connected disability that is related to the dental issue at hand. They can also consider very basic treatment related to veterans enrolled in the VA Homeless Dental program or those enrolled in VA Vocational Rehab. However, treatment in these instances is not guaranteed and is quite limited. You can see all of the VA stipulations and obstacles that veterans have to overcome right on the VA website HERE.
The SERV Foundation works to provide dental care to veterans-in-need at no cost to them.
